First and foremost, the goal of the Andrew Esparza Memorial Foundation is to continue to do the good that Andrew wholeheartedly believed in. We are an organization here to encourage and support the community while continuing Officer Esparza’s legacy. Our hope is to ease the financial burden of high school seniors entering college and to assist families of fallen/injured first responders.

Andy’s gift to all that knew him was his selfless, uncompromising devotion to his friends and family. He was a person who never cheated the game, never cheated his school, and never cheated his teammates or coaches in a game that is unforgiving in its revelation of character flaws.
Fear Not For I am With You
Officer Andrew Esparza was born April 29, 1980. He was the third of four chirldren and graduated from Burleson High School and then moved on to graduate from UTA with a bachelor’s in business. After graduation, Andy took a marketing position with an orthodontic supplier in San Antonio. This lead Andy to his true calling, serving people. Andrew became an Irving Police Officer in 2005, where he found his passion for law enforcement. He shared his love of life and faith in our lord and savior on and off duty every chance he got. On April 13,2007 we lost a man that truly left this world a better place.
